COMPREHENSIVE ORAL REHABILITATION
A patient from Germany came to our clinic on a recommendation. At the first examination, it became clear that the mouth needed comprehensive treatment, both functional and aesthetic.
HOW DID WE START?
In the front area, old crowns, large fillings and gum problems were found. In the back areas, there were teeth that needed extraction as well as root remnants.
THE RIGHT PLAN, A NATURAL RESULT
Our priority in planning the treatment was to clear the sources of infection in the mouth and to give the patient a functional foundation that could be used healthily for many years. Accordingly, the teeth that needed extraction were removed carefully, the missing areas were supported with implant treatments, and the plan was made so that implant-supported restorations would replace the bridges.
The patient had a serious heart condition and regularly took blood thinners. For this reason, a meeting with her cardiologist, who follows her care, was held before the operations began. After the necessary medical approvals were obtained, the treatment was planned safely with her systemic health in mind, and the implant operations were completed successfully.

After the implants were placed, a healing period of about three months was awaited. Once the fit between bone and implants reached the desired level, the digital treatment phase began. Using three-dimensional oral scanning systems and the patient’s facial photographs, a personalised smile design was made. In this way, both her aesthetic and her functional expectations were met.
RESULT
At the end of the treatment, strong chewing function was achieved in the back areas, and aesthetic restorations with a natural tooth appearance were placed in the front. Taking into account the tooth colour and shape she asked for, the smile design that best suits her face was created.
In this way, the patient not only gained a healthy mouth but also a natural, aesthetic smile that boosts her confidence. At our clinic, we aim to offer every patient not only an aesthetic smile but also functional treatments they can use healthily for many years.
